‘GUYS and DOLLS’ production Feb. 26th and 27th

Aspengrove School’s musical theatre production of ‘Guys & Dolls’ will be presented in the school’s gym at 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 26th and Friday, February 27th.

Tickets sold in advance and at the door.  Adults $10, Students/Seniors $5

VI Symphony member visit

Aspengrove students welcomed oboeist Pippa Williams of the Vancouver Island Symphony to their music classroom to share her knoweldge and experience as a member of the VI Symphony.  Students will be attending a concert for students held at the Port Theatre,  presented by the VI Symphony on Thurs. Feb 19th.

Basketball News

The Ravens’ Grade 7 boys and girls basketball teams travelled to Duncan on Feb. 4th to participate in an independent schools tournament against Duncan Christian, Queen of Angels, Pacific Christian, Nanaimo Christian, Port Alberni and Campbell River teams.  The boys team placed 3rd of 11 teams and the girls team placed 5th of 8 teams.  The Ravens welcomed the opportunity to compete and improved as the tournament progressed.  Way To Go Ravens!

Visit by Vancouver Aquarium Educators

Students from Jr. Kindergarten to Grade 12 are looking forward to being engaged, amazed and inspired by aquatic animals during a visit from the Vancouver Aquarium’s Aquavan and its educators on February 10th.  This hands-on program will help our students learn more about aquatic animals and their habitats from specialists in this field of study.  More info can be found at www.vanaqua.org
