One afternoon per week, students in Grades 5 to 9 take part in an Exploratory Course. Each student may take three courses over the year, one in each term. Some Exploratory Courses that were offered in 2008/2009 were:

• Musical theatre
• Set design, costumes and props
• Horseback riding
• Stained glass
• Mountain biking
• Podcasting
• Community service action project
