Mr. Graham Shuley

Mr. Shuley comes to Aspengrove School with a wealth of experience as an educator in outdoor leadership, environmental studies, and forest ecology. He received his Bachelor of Arts in geography and environmental studies in 1993 from the University of Victoria, and was awarded a Bachelor of Education from Malaspina University-College in 2002. He also holds an Advanced Wilderness First Aid certificate.

Mr. Shuley’s curriculum vitae includes: outdoor education instructor and guide at St. Michael’s University School, forest ecology education coordinator for the BC Ministry of Forests, principal author of Watershed Connections for the Sierra Club of BC, instructor/curriculum writer at Camosun College, teaching assistant at the University of Victoria, certified sea kayak guide and instructor, and owner/operator of a Victoria-based ecotourism business.
