Music 5 and 8;  Math 6 and 9

Mrs. McElwain comes to Aspengrove School with 25 years of teaching music in Alberta and British Columbia as well as producing/directing musical theatre, concert and jazz bands from primary to high school and experience as a recording studio technician.  In addition, Mrs. McElwain is a published music composer of a music program geared toward elementary music instruction and a specialized ESL music program The Learning English Series for elementary and secondary schools in China.  She is currently the co-conductor of the Nanaimo Community Band as well as playing horn and trombone in both the Community and Jazz Bands.
