Meet Mona Yacoub
With a professional background in Engineering, experience as a teaching assistant at the German University in Cairo, and a subject-restricted Independent School BC certification, Mrs. Yacoub brings strong subject-matter expertise and a student-centered approach to learning – qualities that support students in building their mathematical mindset.
Her engineering training has equipped her with a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, problem-solving strategies, and analytical thinking. During her time as a teaching assistant at the German University in Cairo, she participated in teaching several courses, including Mechanics, Engineering Drawing, and Production Technology. These experiences strengthened her instructional techniques and reinforced the value of patience, clarity, and adapting explanations to meet individual learning needs.
